The Augustus Hotel is a seafront resort property situated directly on the beach overlooking the promenade in the resort of Salou on the Costa Dorada. It is five kilometres from Cambrils and 10 kilometres from Port Aventura. Reus Airport is 20 kilometres from the hotel, with an approximate driving time of 30 minutes.

The beach hotel was built in 1971 and comprises a total of 324 rooms spread over 4 floors. Guests are offered use of a lobby with a 24-hour reception desk, a lift, a games room and an air-conditioned restaurant. Guests may also make use of the Internet terminal and WLAN access, as well as the room service and hotel garage. There is a kids' club available for younger guests.

The air-conditioned, tiled rooms come with an en suite bathroom with hairdryer, satellite TV, a direct dial telephone, a safe (fee payable), heating and a balcony or terrace.

In the outdoor complex is a freshwater pool, a pool/ snack bar and a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols. Guests also have the opportunity to play billiards and an entertainment programme is put on by the hotel for added variation.
